Hotel guests pedal for their power.  The gist of it is that guests are encouraged to pedal a stationary bicycle, which in turn tops up the hotel's power banks.  As an incentive, the hotel offers free food to guests who generate 100 watt hours of power.… more »

Since the start of the year, I've been riding to work two or three times a week.  It's a 53Km round trip, mostly flat, mostly on bike paths, and reasonably safe.  The ride home is always a little tiring because there's a long(ish) hill 3/4 of the way… more »
